In the fight against racial inequality and injustice in America, we cannot ignore prevalent anti-Blackness in our AAPI community; we must recognize and act against these biases.

On August 22nd, 11 incredible guest speakers were featured in two panels in our event Anti-Blackness in the Asian American Community and Building Solidarity.

Our first panel examined the history of Afro-Asian interactions through a conversation between college professors with expertise in this field. Our second panel focused on contemporary issues and solidarity building with a discussion between organization leaders, authors, teachers, and more. Watch to the end for some groovy music!
