Address racism in our community & build alliances
AAPSU stands in solidarity with other communities of color. We will create networks with other minority groups and produce translated educational resources and workshops to combat racism, colorism, and anti-blackness in our community.

Support educational equity for all
AAPSU is committed to racially diverse and accessible education for all. We support policies like affirmative action that help victims of systemic racism earn educational opportunities. In MCPS, we will support the boundary study and its goal to create diverse and equitable school districts.

Advocate for rights and community development
AAPSU will combat anti-Asian sentiment through anti-hate initiatives and promote awareness of Asian American history in and outside of schools through curriculum changes, resource development, and workshops.

Promote civic engagement in our community
AAPSU will encourage Asian American participation in politics by promoting voter registration and providing a platform for progressive Asian American candidates.
